Libya Telecom & Technology or LTT is a government-owned telecommunications company established in 1997. Based in Tripoli, Libya, it is the country’s primary internet service provider, offering DSL and 4G services. In March 2018, LTT launched its LTT4G network.

FTTH

LTT offers high-speed fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) internet, utilizing fiber-optic technology for reliable and fast connectivity. Packages provide speeds from 8 Mbps to 20 Mbps, with data allowances between 100 GB and 200 GB. Customers can purchase additional data if needed. The FTTH service is currently available to residents in the Al-Zuhour neighborhood of Tripoli.

ADSL

Libya ADSL, provided by LTT, delivers internet via Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line technology. The service has a one-time activation fee and includes unlimited data with speeds up to 4 Mbps for three months.

Packages range from a standard 2 Mbps plan to higher-speed packages with larger data allowances for families. Additional data can be purchased online or via customer service.

4G

LTT 4G delivers high-speed mobile internet using 4G technology. The Grand Package offers 150 GB of data and unlimited downloads from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Service is activated upon SIM insertion in areas with 4G coverage, currently available in cities like Tripoli, Benghazi, and Misrata.

Mobile

Libya Phone offers mobile communication services with various subscription plans. New subscribers are placed on the “Ahla” plan, which includes voice calls, text messages, video calls, MMS, and internet usage.

There are additional packages, such as the Marhabetain and Talk More plans, which offer different amounts of voice minutes, text messages, MMS, and data. Libya Phone also provides premium numbers with added benefits like increased voice minutes and initial credit.

Hosting

LTT offers a range of hosting services with varying storage capacities. All packages include unlimited monthly data transfer, email accounts, FTP accounts, and MySQL databases. LTT also provides domain registration services, including national .ly domains and other extensions such as .com.ly, .net.ly, and .org.ly. Special domains like .gov.ly and .edu.ly require official documentation.
