MEO is a telecommunications brand from Altice Portugal that provides mobile, internet, and telephony services. The company was established in 2007 after the split of PT Comunicações and PT Multimédia. MEO intitially used copper cables for its ADSL services before expanding to satellite and FTTH. By 2009, it introduced triple-play services, followed by quadruple-play in 2013. In 2014, MEO merged with TMN.

MEO Fibre provides high-speed internet services to residential and business customers using an advanced fiber-optic network with speeds of up to 10 Gbps for both uploads and downloads. The service includes WiFi 6-enabled routers to ensure reliable connectivity. MEO Fibre is available in major cities such as Lisbon, Porto, and Braga, and can be bundled with television and mobile services with a 24-months contract.

MEO’s postpaid SIM packages operate on a 5G network, offering flexible plans with data, minutes, and SMS options. The entry-level plan includes 3,500 minutes and SMS, along with 100 GB of monthly data. Unlimited data, minutes, and SMS plans are also available.

Pay As You GO SIM

MEO offers prepaid SIM cards with competitive plans, operating on the same 5G network for fast and reliable connectivity. Monthly data packages range from 200 MB to 5 GB, while SMS and minutes options vary between 500 and 1,000.

TV

MEO TV is a versatile service offering IPTV and satellite options for high-quality viewing. The service features a wide range of Portuguese and international channels, with packages offering up to 170 channels. MEO TV service also include cloud recording feature and an extensive library of on-demand content. There’s also a dedicated app with Netflix integration for streaming content on-the-go.
